Ray Anderson fires Todd Graham after a season that saw ASU improve by 2 total wins (from 5 to 7) and ending the season with a victory over UofA. The firing also came after Todd Graham made several changes Ray Anderson asked him to make including not talking about championship aspirations so much, bringing in a new defensive coordinator, relinquishing defensive play calling duties to the DC, and winning more games.

Many fans disagreed with move as a poll on azcentral.com showed that 45% of responders thought it was a bad move and only 17% believed it to be a good move. After all, why would you fire a coach that made all the changes you asked of him AND won more games than the previous season?
